The Class has a proven track record of helping sailors get started. We have a dedicated Class Committee and three Class owned 420’s that can be used to try out the boat. The 420 Class is the perfect boat to transition to, to continue your sailing adventures.
Transitioning from a junior to a youth boat means you’ll spend time learning new skills, but don’t worry, you’ll be out there very quickly, in all weather conditions meaning that you’ll be racing with the rest of the fleet sooner than you think.
With good quality boats starting from as little as €2k and an active second hand market your transition couldn’t be easier.
