There are many opportunities to take part in events other that the Junior Europeans or World Championships in order for sailors to broaden their horizons. The UK is the easiest event circuit to access and they have several events during the year that are convenient to attend.
In Europe there is a regular circuit of events and these are often set up where it is possible to hire a boat for the event and also access coaching
