The Notice of Race for the 420 Nationals on the bank holiday weekend of the 4th to the 6th August has now been posted on the Howth Yacht Club website https://hyc.ie/system/resources/1026/original/420_Nationals_18_nor_r1.docx?1531345655 . The 26th July is the early bird entry date and entry increases from €120 to €150 on that day, entry can be completed online through the HYC website, https://hyc.ie/events/232-420-nationals/entries/new .
Open training is also planned prior to the nationals and there are two options available, both have restricted numbers so it will be important to express interest early, HYC have set Friday the 20th July as the deadline for confirming participation. The training options are as follows:
- The 3-day clinic is from Tuesday 31st July to Thursday the 2nd August
- The single day clinic on Friday the 3rd August, it is hoped that the option of the single day clinic may appeal to those travelling a distance to the Nationals (this may include any interested GBR boats from across the water).
- Sailors can attend both clinics if they wish.
The AGM will take place on the evening of the 4th August as soon as possible after racing.
