Summer Training 05/06/09

With summer rapidly on its way, we are pleased to announce the following 420 training camps which are due to take place during the summer.

The first training camp will be held from 30th June to 4th July by RCYC, the training is open to all sailors and it is expected that all team members (French/Worlds/Jnr Euros) attend the training.

The weekend of 5th/6th July will be the Currabinny Cup which will be hosted by RCYC. There will be 6 races with races starting at 1200 on Saturday.

The second training camp will be immediately after the Currabinny Cup, held from 6th July to 9th July by RCYC, it is hoped again that all sailors will attend this training in the run up to summer events and racing.

The 420 Leinsters will then be hosted by Blessington SC on the weekend of 11th/12th July. More information is available on their website.

The last training session of the summer will be held in Dun Laoghaire, venue to be confirmed. This training camp is aimed towards sailors making the transition into the 420 along with sailors who have been in the boat for a year or less – any other sailors should contact us.

This training session will be held from 24th August to 28th August, more information on this camp will follow shortly but please express your interest as soon as possible.
