Connacht 420 Championships 06/05/09

The Connacht 420 championships take place on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of May in Galway City. This is also the weekend that the Volvo Ocean Race is due to arrive in Galway city centre. All cars and trailers attending the 420 event will require a Car Pass into the Cold Chon and Bowwaves premises from where it is intended to launch. The Gardai have closed the access road for the event, as they are putting in a one way traffic system to cope with the predicted traffic volumes. This area is beside where the Open 70's will be berthed and/or on the hard for maintenance, so they intend restricting access to this area anyway.
